Founder's story
"I built DrawFunder because I needed it for my own fundraising."
I started DrawFunder because fundraising is personal to me. After losing my mum to ovarian cancer, I've spent years raising money for charity through endurance challenges and community fundraising.
When I secured a charity place for the London Marathon, I had to raise £2,700. Alongside the training, that created real pressure — and I wasn't alone. Other fundraisers told me they felt exactly the same.
Many of us were using prize draws to help hit those targets, but the tools felt clunky, manual and lacking transparency. Winners were picked from spreadsheets. Funds sat in personal accounts before reaching charity pages. For something built on trust, the process felt outdated.
That's why I built DrawFunder — the home of transparent, UK-compliant charity prize draws.
